Warminster Baptist Church is learning how to do church differently. Covid-19 Government guidelines mean that any church gathering in our building would have limited numbers, could not currently include singing, music played would be limited and fellowship would be at a distance. Therefore, we are currently not holding public services at the church building, but we continue to support our community, help our neighbours and keep in touch with church members.
Acts 2:42 (NIV) "They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer." We are currently seeking to implement this in the following ways:
2. Fellowship: Many of us will still be stopping on Sunday mornings at 10.30am, or pray walking in family groups. We are encouraging more contacts to meeting together in small groups (of up to 6 people) in gardens, or as two shared households (keeping social distancing). A weekly newsletter is available to those who regularly keep in touch with us, including bible verses and prayer updates. If you'd like to be included please contact our Minister, Sue Percey, via email
3. We can still pray for one another. Please contact us and we can pray for you.
4. If you need urgent Practical help contact us (e.g. picking up essential food, collecting a prescription).
Our Mission Statement: To glorify God, making disciples of Jesus Christ, through the power of the Holy Spirit.
